‘Becky Sue’ Captain Joel Nelson and crew took 1st place at the July 31st Erieau Steelhead Tournament with 18 steelhead caught and five weighed in at 48.4 pounds. Mike Barkly took 2nd place and had the big steelhead (11.3 lbs); Ted Ringer, 3rd; Greg Ruggles, 4th; Hermann Christoph, 5th; Marty Drum, 6th; Clyde Schoen, 7th; Bruce Bourton, 8th; and Jerry Douglas, 9th. There were 13 boats involved and 43 crew. Eleven boats weighed five fish and all caught steelhead. There were 116 steelhead caught during the tournament. The average steelhead weighed 7.4 pounds.
